Originally from Edmonton, Alberta Sam Brown Weasel is a Black Foot indigenous undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia.

He is majoring in psychology with their focus being on further indigenous representation within the mental health field. In addition to this he worked in the culinary field for many years and now uses his skills to help out as camp cook at Sun Dance ceremonies.
